Vampmoon Cafe was originally created as a free form roleplaying channel on mIRC's dalnet server around 1996 by Darkwolf. Used mainly a Vampire the Masquerade & Werewolf the Apocalypse game, it was also an open forum where any fantasy characters were accepted into the fold. In an otherwise cold world Vampmoon Cafe soon became a haven for those who, like Darkwolf, didn't fit in anywhere else. Asking no questions of it's patrons the Cafe was a place where the doors would always be open, & where anyone was welcome who wasn't looking for trouble. Along with her very close friends, Darkwolf was able to provide this secure bastion of peace against outside persecution to all who needed it...for awhile. In 1998 the cafe lost Darkwolf as its custodian, after which it was slowly abandoned to eventually be swallowed by the darkness. Now, nearly 14 years later, a new life has been given to the long dead dream. Searching for old friends through the remnants time, Darkwolf's ghost stalks again.
